Celebrating Minds, Building Resilience: The Final Day of World Mental Health Month.
The final day of World Mental Health Month at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya ended on a powerful note with an inspiring session inaugurated by our Pro Vice Chancellor, Respected Dr. Chinmay Pandya. In his insightful address, he highlighted the profound importance of mental health in today’s world and lauded the enthusiasm, participation of students in a wide array of engaging activities.
From a safe cyber security workshop to a creative hand-printing session symbolising unity in facing mental health challenges, students explored diverse facets of well-being. Creative minds flourished during the doodling for everyone activity, while the wall of gratitude became a touching testament to appreciation and support. Engaging workshops on practical challenges in counselling, and addressing violence and abuse against women and children, empowered participants with vital knowledge.
The event also featured a psychometric testing fair, reflective Deep Yagya, Moon meditation, and a serene sunrise meditation to promote inner peace. The artistic talents of students were showcased in the poster-making competition, all leading to a memorable closing of a month dedicated to raising awareness and strengthening mental health.
Through activities that nourished both the mind and spirit, the day celebrated the power of community and resilience, echoing the message that prioritizing mental health is the foundation of a healthier, more fulfilled life.
