
Alumni Speak Series: Mastering Case Study Taking, Interviewing Skills & Exploring Career Opportunities for Psychology Students.
On February 18 and 19, 2025, the Dev Sanskriti Alumni Association (Avahan), in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, organized a highly insightful two-day session under the Alumni Speak series, titled "Mastering Case Study Taking, Interviewing Skills & Exploring Career Opportunities for Psychology Students." This session was specially designed for the students of the Department of Psychology at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, with a clear focus on enhancing their practical skills and preparing them for future career opportunities in the field.
The session was led by Mr. Kshitij Modi, a distinguished Clinical Psychologist and Founder of Prastar Vatsalya. With his extensive expertise, Mr. Modi provided in-depth knowledge on mastering case study methods, improving interviewing techniques, and navigating diverse career paths for psychology students. His comprehensive approach helped students understand how to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations, while emphasizing the critical skills needed to succeed in the psychology profession. The session was highly interactive and practice-oriented, allowing students to engage in case study exercises and mock interviews.
Alongside this session, the Dev Sanskriti Students Club, in collaboration with Disha: Psychological, Spiritual, and Career Counseling Club of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, held an interactive session with the students. During this session, they engaged in meaningful discussions on various topics related to psychology, spirituality, and career development, ensuring that students could actively participate and share their insights.
Towards the end, the session focused on the university's upcoming initiatives, providing students with detailed information on future activities in the realms of psychological, spiritual, and career counseling. These initiatives are aimed at furthering the holistic development of the students, helping them stay informed, engaged, and prepared for new opportunities.
