Alumni Speak Series: Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in Industry and Tools & Career Opportunities
Another engaging session under the Alumni Speak Series took place on March 3, 2025, organized by Avahan - Dev Sanskriti Alumni Association in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science. The event was held under the guidance of Respected Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV), offering students a unique opportunity to learn about cutting-edge advancements in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
The session was led by Mr. Sharad Raj Singh Maurya, AI Engineer at Studio 137 ZA | Gloo US, and former Software Developer at ISRO’s Indian Institute of Remote Sensing. With his extensive experience, Mr. Maurya discussed the latest trends, impacts, and career opportunities in Generative AI. The first session highlighted how GenAI is transforming industries, and the skills students need to thrive in this dynamic field.
The session provided practical insights into Generative AI tools and techniques, allowing students to better understand the technical aspects of this rapidly evolving domain. Through interactive discussions, Mr. Maurya shared valuable advice on how aspiring AI professionals can stay ahead of the curve.
Students were highly engaged throughout the event, asking thoughtful questions about real-world applications and the challenges of working in AI-related fields.
